1. What are the PrintWeek Digital Print Awards?
The PrintWeek Digital Print Awards recognise excellence in digital printing across India. The awards celebrate outstanding digital print applications, innovation in production and high-quality execution across multiple segments of the industry.
2. Who can enter the awards?
The awards are open to:
- Digital print service providers
- Commercial printers with digital printing capabilities
- Photo printing companies
- Label printers using digital technology
- Print businesses offering web-to-print services
Entries must represent digitally printed work produced in India.
3. Is there an entry fee?
No. There is no entry fee for the PrintWeek Digital Print Awards.
The initiative aims to encourage participation from small and medium digital printers across India.
4. How many entries can a company submit?
A company may submit multiple entries across different categories.
The same project can also be submitted in more than one category, if it fits the criteria.
5. What categories are included in the awards?
The awards cover eleven digital print segments including:
- Cross Media
- Finishing
- Variable Printing
- Photobooks
- Labels
- Books (Print-on-Demand)
- Wide Format & Super Wide Format
- Marketing Collaterals
- Personalisation
- Industrial Digital Usage
- Web-to-Print
6. Do we need to send a physical sample?
Yes. Sending a physical sample is mandatory.
Participants must courier a sample of the printed work to the PrintWeek office so that the jury can evaluate:
- Print quality
- Colour consistency
- Finishing
- Production standards
7. Will the samples be returned?
No. Samples submitted for judging will not be returned.
8. What information is required in the entry?
Participants will need to submit:
- Company details
- Project title
- Category selected
- A short description of the project
- Images of the printed work
A physical sample must also be couriered to the PrintWeek office.
9. What is the eligibility period for entries?
The work submitted must have been produced within the last 12 months.
10. How will the entries be judged?
Entries will be evaluated by an independent jury panel consisting of print industry experts.
Judging will be based on:
- Print quality
- Innovation in digital printing
- Execution and finishing
- Effective use of digital technology
- Business or communication impact
